Although the development of the city has advanced far beyond past predictions, the Achasan National Park Zoo has persisted throughout history as one of Neo-Seoul’s landmark locations. A beautiful rolling expanse of green amidst the harsh chrome and glass of the city, Achasan National Park Zoo is home to over 1,800 species from across the world and over 22,000 animals total.

In recent years, the zoo has partnered with Open Thought and the Brainstorm technology to create a more immersive experience for park-goers, especially children. All animal exhibits, similarly to the Hangaram Art Museum, can come to life so long as the individual visiting has a compatible wireless brain chip. If so, guided tours and bonus content and information will be provided for the guest, and children even get to experience a “virtual safari” of sorts with digitized close-up encounters of the park zoo’s most popular animals.
